The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh rankedBallooners ' (12-30) home victory over 8th ranked Lakestars (4-37) 103-65 on Wednesday. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Shiga L-Stars ' players. The best player for the winners was American Yoeli Childs (203-1998, college: BYU) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Taiki Sumida (182-1999) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Four Ballooners players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American Markeith Cummings (198-1988, college: KSU) who recorded 19 points and Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saga B. maintains seventh position with 12-30 record. Shiga L-Stars lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eighth place with 37 games lost.
