Regular Season Round 24: Tachikawa - Shinagawa 88-79

There was a surprise result when thirteenth rankedTachikawa (17-25) defeated at home higher ranked Shinagawa (21-22) 88-79 on Saturday. Tachikawa shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Ousu Mori (183-1996) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-1987, college: Cincinnati) who added 17 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Tachikawa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Jordan Faison (201-1994, college: CPP) with 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Hayden Koval (216-1997, college: Cincinnati, agency: Diamond Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tachikawa maintains thirteenth position with 17-25 record, which they share with Yamaguchi. Shinagawa lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 22 games lost.
