Sixth-rankedSwoops (21-17) gave a tough game to third ranked Five Arrows (31-7) in Takamatsu on Sunday. Five Arrows managed to secure only one-point victory 63-62 . However their fans expected easier game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for power forward Brekkott Chapman (206-1996, college: Weber St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 8 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) helped adding 13 points. Power forward Zena Edosomwan (206-1993, college: Harvard, agency: Diamond Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Five Arrows have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Kagawa maintains third place with 31-7 record having just three points less than leader Yokohama EX. Gifu at the other side keeps the sixth position with 17 games lost.
