Rather predictable result in Takamatsu where third rankedFive Arrows (31-7) defeated 6th ranked Swoops (21-17) 86-81 on Saturday. Kagawa made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-1996, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Brekkott Chapman (206-1996, college: Weber St.) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Senegalese power forward Andre Sambou (203-1999) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and point guard Kaisei Takahashi (175-2003) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Five Arrows . Kagawa maintains third place with 31-7 record having just three points less than leader Yokohama EX. Loser Swoops keeps the sixth position with 17 games lost.
