There was a surprise result in Ishikawa where fourteenth rankedKanazawa (15-25) won against higher ranked Broncos (19-19) 78-62 on Saturday. Kanazawa outrebounded Saitama 46-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian center Viacheslav Petrov (204-1994, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Steven Green (196-1993, college: OKBU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian-Montenegrin forward Milko Bjelica (207-1984, agency: BIG) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Slash Sports) added 16 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Kanazawa . They maintain fourteenth place with 15-25 record, which they share with Yamaguchi. Loser Broncos keeps the ninth position with 19 games lost.
