Regular Season Round 23: Tokyo Z - Tachikawa 85-73

Not a big story in a game in Tokyo where 12th rankedTachikawa (16-24) was defeated by eighth ranked Earthfriends (21-19) 85-73 on Saturday. Tokyo Z looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jaycee Hillsman (200-1996, college: Illinois St.) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Earthfriends players scored in double figures. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Kota Takano (183-2000) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokyo Z moved-up to seventh place. Loser Tachikawa dropped to the thirteenth position with 24 games lost.
