Fourth-rankedBlowinds (25-19) were very close to win a game against second ranked Brave Warriors (30-14) in Nagano. Brave Warriors managed to secure only one-point victory 69-68 . However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Terrance Woodbury (203-1987, college: Georgia) who added 16 points during the contest. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Perry Ellis (203-1993, college: Kansas) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and British forward Benjamin Lawson (216-1995, college: WKU) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Fukui B. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Shinshu maintains second position with 30-14 record having just two points less than leader Chiba. Newly promoted Fukui B. keeps the fourth place with 19 games lost.
