Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedTachikawa (15-23) was outscored at home by sixth ranked Swoops (21-15) 101-63 on Sunday. Gifu made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Gifu outrebounded Tachikawa 45-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Gifu looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) notched 20 points to lead the effort and point guard Eitaro Iwamatsu (179-1995) supported him with 18 points. Four Swoops players scored in double figures. Even 13 points by Ousu Mori (183-1996) did not help to save the game for Tachikawa . Kota Takano (183-2000) added 6 points and 6 assists for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Gifu moved-up to fifth place. Tachikawa lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 23 games lost.
