Not a big story in a game when 5th rankedNiigata A. (21-18) lost to second ranked United (30-6) in Tokyo 68-84 on Saturday. Tokyo Utd dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Niigata A. 's 20. Tokyo Utd looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Lithuanian power forward Rokas Gustys (206-1994, college: Hofstra) notched 10 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Mitsuki Nagao (174-1999) supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 14 points and 22 rebounds by center Mutombo Jean-Pierre (206-2002) did not help to save the game for Niigata A. . American guard Anthony Nelson (193-1998, college: Manhattan) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Four Niigata A. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. United have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Tokyo Utd maintains second position with 30-6 record having six points less than leader Yokohama EX. Niigata A. at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 18 games lost.
