Rather expected game in Anjo where 8th rankedHitachi Cougars (4-20) were crushed by fifth ranked Aishin AW (9-16) 79-54 on Saturday. Aishin AW looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Aishin AW made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was the former international Sakura Noguchi (181-2001) who scored 9 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Sayaka Okamoto (161-1991) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ririka Okuyama (180-2000) who recorded 15 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Yuki Nakano (181-1996) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
