Regular Season Round 41: Bambitious N. - Kobe S. 82-70

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Storks' (12-29) road loss to fifth ranked Bambitious (15-26) in Nara 70-82 on Sunday. Bambitious looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American center Stephen Zimmerman (211-1996, college: UNLV, agency: Slash Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import Shaquille Hines (201-1993, college: UTRGV) accounted for 23 points and 4 assists. Four Bambitious N. players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American power forward Morris Udeze (206-1999, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Yusuke Tsunai (185-1996) added 10 points respectively for Kobe S. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bambitious maintains fifth place with 15-26 record. Kobe S. lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 29 games lost. Bambitious will meet Yamagata (#6) on the road in the next round. Kobe S. will play against Ehime in Matsuyama and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
