American center Michael Hughes (203-1998, college: Duquesne) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and guard Tomohiro Ishii (185-1999) chipped in 19 points. The best for the losing side was center Mutombo Jean-Pierre (206-2002) with 8 points and 16 rebounds and the former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-1986) scored 20 points. Niigata A.'s coach Jun Uzawa rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Shanan Utd . They maintain tenth place with 16-20 record.
