Regular Season Round 36: Akita NH - Nagoya DD 84-78

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Dolphins' (19-17) road loss to fourth ranked Happinets (18-18) 78-84 on Saturday. Akita NH looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Takuya Nakayama (182-1994) who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. French power forward Yannis Morin (208-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Keita Imamura (191-1996) who recorded 20 points and 6 assists and the former international point guard Takumi Saito (172-1995) added 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Akita NH maintains fourth position with 18-18 record, which they share with Osaka E. Loser Dolphins dropped to the third place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Kyoto H..
