There was an upset when higher rankedShanan Utd (13-19) lost to sixteenth ranked Veertien Mie (6-26) in Kanagawa 80-85 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Yasuyuki Miyazaki (170-1986) who led the winners and scored 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists. New Zealand center Callum McRae (216-1999, college: Sacramento St.) accounted for 12 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-1985, college: FAU) came up with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Tomohiro Ishii (185-1999) added 18 points respectively for Shanan Utd in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Veertien Mie maintains sixteenth place with 6-26 record. Loser Shanan Utd keeps the twelfth position with 19 games lost.
