There was a small surprise when eleventh rankedHachioji Trains (15-19) defeated on the road 9th ranked Tachikawa (15-17) 89-77 on Sunday. Tokyo dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Tachikawa 's 36. They outrebounded Tachikawa 47-25 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tokyo looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Hiroya Ogane (180-1989) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) accounted for 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Hachioji Trains' coach Rikio Miki used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 32 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Tachikawa in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Hachioji Trains . Tokyo maintains eleventh place with 15-19 record. Tachikawa lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Saitama.
