No shocking result in a game in Tokyo where third rankedUnited (24-6) smashed 8th ranked Tachikawa (15-15) 96-62 on Sunday. Tokyo Utd dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tachikawa 's 26 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Tachikawa 41-25 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tokyo Utd looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Lithuanian power forward Rokas Gustys (206-1994, college: Hofstra) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-1996) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. Four United players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Ousu Mori (183-1996) scored 17 points. Tachikawa's coach Takeo Mabashi gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. United have a solid four-game winning streak. Tokyo Utd maintains third position with 24-6 record having six points less than leader Yokohama EX. Tachikawa at the other side keeps the eighth place with 15 games lost.
