Very expected game when 7th rankedB-Corsairs (11-19) lost to first ranked Golden Kings (23-7) in Yokohama 89-103 on Sunday. Ryukyu outrebounded Yokohama BC 49-32 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ryukyu looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) notched 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Keve Aluma (206-1998, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by American Gary Clark (198-1994, college: Cincinnati) did not help to save the game for Yokohama BC . Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (210-1996, college: S.Carolina) added 17 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Golden Kings have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
