Not a big story in a game when 16th rankedVeertien Mie (4-24) lost on the road to ninth ranked Tachikawa (14-12) 91-81 on Saturday. Tachikawa looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Tachikawa players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by New Zealand center Callum McRae (216-1999, college: Sacramento St.) did not help to save the game for Veertien Mie . American power forward Damonte Dodd (211-1994, college: Maryland) added 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tachikawa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser Veertien Mie keeps the sixteenth position with 24 games lost.
