Regular Season Round 28: Kawasaki BT - Sendai 89ers 77-71

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Kanagawa where 7th ranked89ers (7-21) were defeated by eighth ranked Brave Thunders (7-21) 77-71 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and American Alize Johnson (206-1996, college: Missouri St.) who added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Brave Thunders players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Nathan Boothe (208-1994, college: Toledo) responded with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St.) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kawasaki moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sendai 89ers and Ibaraki R.
