Not a big story in a game in Okinawa where 7th rankedRobots (7-21) were outplayed by first ranked Golden Kings (21-7) 91-66 on Sunday. Ryukyu made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Ryukyu outrebounded Ibaraki R. 37-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Golden Kings players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and center Jehyve Floyd (203-1997, college: Holy Cross) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Golden Kings have an impressive five-game winning streak. Ryukyu maintains first position with 21-7 record. Ibaraki R. lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 21 games lost. They share the position with Kawasaki and Sendai 89ers.
