No shocking result in a game in Shiga where first rankedSan-en NP (23-4) outleveled 8th ranked Lakestars (2-25) 109-88 on Saturday. San-en NP looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Shiga L-Stars ' players. The best player for the winners was American-Nigerian swingman David Nwaba (195-1993, college: Cal Poly) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Yante Maten (201-1996, college: Georgia) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Nwaba is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and American Markeith Cummings (198-1988, college: KSU) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five San-en NP and four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for San-en NP . They maintain first place with 23-4 record. Shiga L-Stars lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keep the eighth position with 25 games lost.
