Everything went according to plan in Okinawa where first rankedGolden Kings (20-7) beat 7th ranked Robots (7-20) 82-67 on Saturday. Ryukyu dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Robots 's 28 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Ryukyu looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Alex Kirk (211-1991, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 20 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) who recorded 9 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and point guard Zen Endo (182-1998) added 17 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Golden Kings . Ryukyu maintains first place with 20-7 record, which they share with Alvark Tokyo and Gunma CT. Ibaraki R. lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 20 games lost. They share it with Sendai 89ers.
