The game between closely ranked teams ended with second rankedMagic 's (17-9) road victory over one of their biggest challengers Jets (17-9) in Chiba 86-78 on Sunday. Shimane SM shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Even 27 points by international Ren Kanechika (198-2003) did not help to save the game for Chiba Jets . American power forward Johnathan Williams III (206-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Diamond Sports) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Five Shimane SM and four Chiba Jets players scored in double figures. Jets' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Shimane SM maintains second position with 17-9 record having five points less than leader Tochigi Brex, which they share with Chiba Jets.
