Top rankedChiba (26-2) recorded its second loss in Fukui on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Blowinds (18-10) 97-84 . It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Chiba. 24 personal fouls committed by Chiba helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Keigo Kimura (188-2000, college: St.Joseph, CT) fired 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. British forward Benjamin Lawson (216-1995, college: WKU) chipped in 6 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Blowinds' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import center Dererk Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) added 13 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Chiba players scored in double figures. Fukui B. moved-up to third place, which they share with Shinshu. Chiba at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost.
