Regular Season Round 14: Niigata A. - Tachikawa 80-87

There was a small surprise when tenth rankedTachikawa (12-12) defeated on the road 8th ranked Niigata A. (12-12) 87-80 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) who scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Ousu Mori (183-1996) chipped in 23 points. Four Tachikawa players scored in double figures. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) produced 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Anthony Nelson (193-1998, college: Manhattan) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tachikawa moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Niigata A. and Gifu.
