Rather expected game when 10th rankedTachikawa (12-12) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Niigata A. (12-12) 80-68 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Kei Igarashi (180-1980) who scored 17 points. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Niigata A. players scored in double figures. American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jordan Bruner (208-1997, college: Alabama, agency: Diamond Sports) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Niigata A. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 12-12 record, which they share with Gifu and Tachikawa.
