Everything went according to plan when eleventh rankedGambarous (11-13) defeated 13th ranked Hachioji Trains (8-16) in Tokushima 88-74 on Sunday. Tokushima Gam. shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. American power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American-Chinese guard Adili Kuerban (191-1998, college: KSU) accounted for 22 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Taren Sullivan (198-1995, college: Findlay, OH) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import forward LG Gill (203-1994, college: Maryland) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Tokyo in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tokushima Gam. maintains eleventh place with 11-13 record. Loser Hachioji Trains keeps the thirteenth position with 16 games lost.
