Very predictable result when first rankedExcellence (22-2) rolled over 14th ranked Kanazawa (8-18) in Ishikawa 99-75 on Sunday. Yokohama dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Kanazawa 's 36. Yokohama forced 20 Kanazawa turnovers. American forward Elyjah Williams (201-1998, college: Northwestern) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) accounted for 30 points. Four Excellence players scored in double figures. American guard Steven Green (196-1993, college: OKBU) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Ukrainian center Viacheslav Petrov (204-1994, agency: BIG) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Kanazawa in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Excellence have a solid series of four victories in a row. Yokohama maintains first place with 22-2 record. Loser Kanazawa keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost.
