The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th rankedRobots ' (7-17) home loss to fifth ranked Nagasaki (12-12) in Mito 85-97 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Nagasaki especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The winners were led by international Yudai Baba (196-1995) who scored that evening 22 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and American Jarrell Brantley (201-1996, college: Charleston) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Nagasaki players scored in double figures. Even 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists by American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) did not help to save the game for Ibaraki R. . His fellow American import forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) added 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nagasaki have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Nagoya DD and Akita NH. Ibaraki R. lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 17 games lost.
