A very close game took place in Shimane betweenThunders and Magic . Second ranked Thunders (17-7) got a very close victory on the road over their close opponent Magic (15-9). Thunders managed to escape with a 3-point win 87-84 in the fight for the first place. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by the former international point guard Yuma Fujii (178-1991) who scored that evening 27 points and American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) supported him with 16 points and 4 assists. Thunders' coach Kyle Milling used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by Australian Nick Kay (206-1992, college: MSU Denver) did not help to save the game for Shimane SM .
