There was a small surprise in Fukushima where seventh rankedFirebonds (6-19) beat 5th ranked Bambitious (9-16) 73-62 on Saturday. Lithuanian forward Rapolas Ivanauskas (208-1998, college: Cincinnati) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and guard Kohei Kasai (176-1993) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Firebonds players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Stephen Zimmerman (211-1996, college: UNLV, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import Shaquille Hines (201-1993, college: UTRGV) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Bambitious N.'s coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fukushima maintains seventh place with 6-19 record. Bambitious lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 16 games lost.
