Very expected game in Shiga where 8th rankedLakestars (1-21) were defeated by first ranked Golden Kings (16-6) 91-83 on Wednesday. Ryukyu made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and American Markeith Cummings (198-1988, college: KSU) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ryukyu maintains first position with 16-6 record, which they share with Chiba Jets. Shiga L-Stars lost seventeenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eighth place with 21 games lost.
