Not a big story in a game when 4th placedBrave Warriors (15-8) lost on the road to first ranked Chiba (22-1) 89-77 on Sunday. Chiba dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Brave Warriors 's 40 and made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Chiba looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for center Dererk Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) accounted for 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Terrance Woodbury (203-1987, college: Georgia) came up with 24 points and 9 rebounds and forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Shinshu in the defeat. Four Shinshu players scored in double figures. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Chiba . They maintain first place with 22-1 record. Loser Brave Warriors dropped to the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Kagoshima.
