An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Toyama. First rankedRizing faced their biggest opponent Grouses . Guests from Fukuoka (15-6) smashed host Grouses (16-5) 78-58 . It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Grouses. It was a key game for the top position in the league. American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Taichi Nakamura (190-1997) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Rizing players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-1987, college: Detroit) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Aaron White (206-1992, college: Iowa, agency: Slash Sports) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rizing have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Fukuoka R. maintains first position with 15-6 record, which they share with Shinshu and Fukui B. Loser Grouses keeps the second place with five games lost.
