An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Chiba. First rankedChiba faced one of their biggest challengers Brave Warriors . Host Chiba (20-1) defeated guests from Nagano (15-6) 90-73 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Brave Warriors. Chiba outrebounded Shinshu 44-23 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Chiba looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The other American import center Dererk Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Kaito Ishikawa (170-1990) produced 16 points and 8 assists and American guard Terrance Woodbury (203-1987, college: Georgia) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Chiba and five Shinshu players scored in double figures. Chiba have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-1 record which they share with defeated Shinshu . Shinshu at the other side still keeps top place with six games lost. They share the position with Fukuoka R. and Fukui B..
