Regular Season Round 20: Fukui B. - Bambitious N. 77-86

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Blowinds (14-6) against fifth ranked Bambitious (9-11) on Saturday night. Host Blowinds were defeated by Bambitious in a tough game in Fukui 77-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Blowinds. Bambitious shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Shaquille Hines (201-1993, college: UTRGV) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Stephen Zimmerman (211-1996, college: UNLV, agency: Slash Sports) who added 13 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Bambitious N. players scored in double figures. American Ryan Kelly (211-1991, college: Duke, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and British forward Benjamin Lawson (216-1995, college: WKU) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bambitious moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kobe S. Newly promoted Fukui B. still keeps top position with six games lost. They share it with Fukuoka R. and Shinshu. Bambitious will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fukui B. will play at home against Bambitious and hopes to get back on the winning track.
