There was a surprise result when sixth rankedB-Corsairs (7-10) won against second-ranked Tochigi Brex (13-4) in Yokohama 80-72 on Saturday. French power forward Damien Inglis (206-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and American Gary Clark (198-1994, college: Cincinnati) accounted for 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Four B-Corsairs players scored in double figures. B-Corsairs' coach Lassi Tuovi used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American center Grant Jerrett (208-1993, college: Arizona) came up with 24 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Makoto Hiejima (191-1990) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Tochigi Brex in the defeat. Yokohama BC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Saga B. and Nagasaki. Loser Tochigi Brex keeps the second position with four games lost.
