There was no surprise when 17th rankedVeertien Mie (2-16) lost to eighth ranked Gambarous (10-10) in Yokkaichi 77-91 on Sunday. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) notched 42 points (!!!) to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) supported him with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Damonte Dodd (211-1994, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for Veertien Mie . New Zealand center Callum McRae (216-1999, college: Sacramento St.) added 19 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokushima Gam. maintains eighth position with 10-10 record. Loser Veertien Mie stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost.
