Not a big story in a game when 14th rankedBroncos (6-12) lost to seventh ranked Swoops (10-8) in Saitama 72-90 on Sunday. Gifu made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Senegalese power forward Andre Sambou (203-1999) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and point guard Eitaro Iwamatsu (179-1995) supported him with 11 points. Four Swoops players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds by American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Saitama . His fellow American import Grant Sitton (206-1993, college: Victoria) added 11 points for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Swoops have an impressive six-game winning streak. Gifu maintains seventh position with 10-8 record. Saitama lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 12 games lost.
