The most exciting game of round 9 in the B3 League took place in Tokushima. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th rankedNiigata A. (8-8) to eighth ranked Gambarous (9-9) 89-87 in the game for the seventh place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Niigata A.. The best player for the winners was American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) who scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) chipped in 17 points. Five Gambarous players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-1989, college: Ohio St.) who recorded 29 points and 5 rebounds and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tokushima Gam. moved-up to seventh place. Niigata A. at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Gifu.
