There was no surprise in Takamatsu where 11th rankedPats Five (6-10) was defeated by third ranked Five Arrows (12-2) 80-62 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Katsumi Takahashi (180-2000) who scored 19 points. American forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. American forward Blake Preston (206-2000, college: Northwestern) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 22 rebounds and 6 assists and Kiichi Kawakami (188-1995) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Five Arrows have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Kagawa moved-up to second place, which they share with Iwate. Loser Pats Five dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost.
