There was a minor upset in Yokohama where 6th rankedB-Corsairs (6-8) were defeated by eighth ranked Alphas (3-11) 80-72 on Saturday. American swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 assists for the winners and Brazilian-American center Tim Soares (211-1997, college: Master's) chipped in 20 points. At the losing side Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (210-1996, college: S.Carolina) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and French power forward Damien Inglis (206-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 18 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Koshigaya A. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Hiroshima D. and Ibaraki R. Yokohama BC lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Nagoya DD and Nagasaki.
