Regular Season Round 13: Kyoto H. - Kawasaki BT 83-81

Important game to mention about took place in Kyoto. Third ranked Kyoto H. (7-7) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Brave Thunders (4-10) 83-81 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Worth to mention a great performance of Italian-American forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-1989, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Jordan Heath (208-1991, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Kyoto H. players scored in double figures. British-American power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones (212-1998, college: NC State) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) added 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Kawasaki. Brave Thunders' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kyoto H. maintains third place with 7-7 record having five points less than leader Shimane SM, which they share with Osaka E. and Akita NH. Kawasaki at the other side dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with FE Nagoya and Sendai 89ers. Kyoto H. will play against Kawasaki (#8) in Kanagawa in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kawasaki will have a break next round.
