No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedNaft Zagros (7-7) beat at home 10th ranked Alborz (3-10) 88-72 on Monday. Naft Zagros outrebounded Alborz 37-26 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Erfan Soleimani notched 26 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Dominican forward Edgar Sosa (190-1988, college: Louisville) supported him with 23 points and 4 assists. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by American-Iraqi guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) did not help to save the game for Alborz . added 12 points for the guests. Four Alborz players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naft Zagros moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Golnoor. Alborz at the other side keeps the tenth position with ten games lost.
