Regular Season Round 16: Hangtuah - Pacific Caesar 91-97

There was an upset in Jakarta where higher ranked Hangtuah (14-7) was defeated by tenth ranked Pacific Caesar (7-14) 97-91 on Friday. Pacific Caesar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Dominican forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 17 rebounds and 4 assists and Filipino point guard Franky Johnson (188-1993, college: WPU) who added 23 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Nigerian-American guard Mike Adewunmi (198-1999, college: UTRGV) responded with 27 points and 4 assists and American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hangtuah's coach Wahyu Jati rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Pacific Caesar maintains tenth position with 7-14 record. Loser Hangtuah keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Pacific Caesar will meet higher ranked Prawira (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hangtuah will have a break next round.
