Regular Season Round 12: Pelita Jaya - Kesatria BS 69-66

The most exciting game of round 12 in the IBL took place in Jakarta. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Kesatria BS (9-6) to fourth ranked Pelita Jaya (12-3) 69-66 on Sunday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward KJ McDaniels (197-1993, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. Pelita Jaya's coach Johannis Winar used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American-Taiwanese power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Pelita Jaya have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Satria Muda. Kesatria BS lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Tangerang. Pelita Jaya will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kesatria BS will play on the road against Bali Utd. (#12) in Denpasar and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
