Regular Season Round 10: Rajawali - Tangerang 74-80

No shocking result in a game in Jakarta where eighth ranked Tangerang (7-6) defeated bottom-ranked Rajawali (0-13) 80-74 on Wednesday. Tangerang forced 20 Rajawali turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Jarred Shaw (211-1990, college: Utah St.) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Stephaun Branch (196-1995, college: UWG) chipped in 10 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Tangerang players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Quintin Dove (197-1998, college: UT Martin) responded with 32 points and 7 rebounds and Julius Wongso (189-1994) scored 5 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tangerang maintains eighth position with 7-6 record. Rajawali at the other side still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Tangerang will meet at home higher ranked Kesatria BS (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rajawali will play again against Tangerang (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
