Everything went according to plan in Bandung where fifth rankedPelita Jaya (8-2) beat 7th ranked Prawira (8-5) 83-66 on Saturday. Pelita Jaya outrebounded Prawira 53-33 including a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward KJ McDaniels (197-1993, college: Clemson) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG) chipped in 8 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward DeVaughn Washington (203-1989, college: Ohio) who recorded 16 points and 8 rebounds and Lithuanian power forward Norbertas Giga (208-1995, college: Jax State) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Four Prawira players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Loser Prawira keeps the seventh position with five games lost.
