Bottom-rankedBima Perkasa (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 89-75 loss to ninth ranked Dewa United (3-3) in Sakti on Saturday evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Adams (194-1994, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Dominican point guard Gelvis Paulino (185-1994, college: Merrimack) who added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Dewa United players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Kierell Green (203-1997, college: Edinboro) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Keljin Blevins (198-1995, college: Montana St., agency: Diamond Sports) scored 21 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dewa United maintains ninth position with 3-3 record. Loser Bima Perkasa still closes the standings with five games lost.
