There was no surprise in Punjab where 5th rankedTitans (4-6) were crushed by second ranked Warriors (6-4) 79-56 on Monday. Punjab W. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Titans 's 26 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Punjab W. outrebounded Mumbai T. 51-33 including a 39-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Australian guard Uche Dibiamaka (193-1999, college: St.Edward's) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws). American power forward Stokley Chaffee (204-1996, college: Tennessee St.) helped adding 14 points and 14 rebounds. Four Warriors players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-1991, college: Pittsburgh) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Lokendra Singh (194-2005) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Punjab W. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Gujarat S. Mumbai T. lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Delhi.
